Instagram to Introduce “Schedule Post” Option for Businesses

The second most used social media channel, “Instagram” will introduce a new feature in the upcoming update. This feature might not be new for the most used social media channel, Facebook, that is, the schedule post option. Instagram will introduce the scheduled post option in its forthcoming update, which is a sigh of relief and a boost at the same time for business pages on the channel.

The Schedule post option might not be a new feature for Facebook users, but for Instagram users it has been the most requested feature in recent times. After requests from over 16 million users, the application is all set to get the scheduled post feature. This new feature enables businesses to promote their respective services more efficiently as they do not have to wait until the particular day and time for posting on Instagram. Simply mention the day and time you wish your post to be published and start working on the new post. Your scheduled post will be posted as per the day & time mentioned. This will enable businesses on Instagram to bulk post and promote their services more efficiently.

Earlier, one had to download a reliable scheduling app to schedule the posts on Instagram. After considering the demands of over 16 million users, Ryan Holmes, CEO of Hootsuite, stated, “The scheduling and publishing of Instagram content has been the number one request for our 16 million customers.” “Now, they can manage large volumes of content, multiple team members and multiple Instagram accounts with ease and security. Hootsuite is excited to partner with Instagram to make this happen.”

Instagram will partner with a third party application to introduce the new feature. Both parties will join hands in order to introduce the brand new feature for the users. Don’t be surprised if you come across more posts than usual on your Instagram feed. Are you one of the 16 million users to demand this feature?
